Since 1981, Four Grand-Mère has been making solid, authentic wood-fired ovens in France, designed to last a lifetime. Built in refractory fireclay with a brick vault and floor, the furnaces in the Excellence range offer you both beautiful flame cooking and exceptional inertia.
The ovens come in two different lines Excellence range are traditional wood-fired baking ovens 80mm dome thikness, built by hand in our workshops in the Vosges. Made from refractory chamotte produced in France, they are also hand-lined with terracotta bricks.
The Ardente range grill and pitsa ovens 40mm dome thikness are completely handmade from refractory chamotte, a fired and crushed clay. Designed and made in France, these high-quality ovens are guaranteed for 10 year
The 8 cm thick firebrick floor and vault are a real charm, guaranteeing powerful, even heat that will be gently released for over 30 hours.
